Clarkson Valuations Ltd (CVL) provides clients with market advice and Price Guidance as part of our daily business. CVL covers the widest range of shipping markets.

In our publications, we make our views on market prices widely known. For the majority of ship types, we have tracked the values over a period of time.

We also publish Registers which describe individual ships.

SHIPVALUE.NET brings these facets together on-line.

There are over 50,000 ships described in the Clarksons Registers, it is not possible to value an individual ship or an individual ship, but we have created a site where we can give Price Guidance, or a benchmark from which individual valuations may be deduced by the user.

We have considered it more useful to give the user the opportunity to see the benchmark, and form an opinion as to its relevance, rather than restrict Price Guidance strictly to an exactly matching type and sub-type.

We offer the opportunity to secure an expert written valuation of a specific ship, if this is required.

Payment

There is a charge for this service. Price Guidance can be obtained at a cost of US$ 50.00 for each query. (Payable by Credit Card on-line).

We have designed the system to accept multiple queries, payable by Credit Card, so the user can pay for as many queries in advance as he or she wishes, and a counter will let the user know how many queries remain.

We have also arranged a portfolio subscription service, where access is allowed with a password.
